Qualification / Experience:
Individuals applying for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE / BS / B.Sc) or its equivalent, with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.2, obtained from an institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in the field.
For candidates specializing in metallurgy, a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Chemical or Physics Technology, or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Metallurgy Engineering is required. Experience in a relevant field will be advantageous.
Alternatively, candidates may include retired EME officers (Major / Captain) with a minimum of 05 years of service as commissioned officers, along with completion of the basic course at the School / College of E and ME. Preference will be given to those with experience in the relevant field.
Age limit
For the Civil position, candidates should be within the age range of 20 to 35 years. However, for individuals with an ex-military background, the maximum age limit is extended up to 50 years.

Experience and Expertise:
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following expertise, as outlined for each respective discipline:
Mechanical Expertise:
Candidates with proficiency in the following software and tools are preferred for Mechanical roles:
- Creo
- LS Dyna
- Abaqus
- Ansys Mechanical
- MATLAB
Electrical / Electronics Expertise:
Candidates with the following specialized skills and experiences will be preferred for Electrical and Electronics roles:
- Embedded design experience emphasizing hardware and software co-design.
- Power electronics expertise with a comprehension of high-frequency systems.
- Non-linear controls experience with an emphasis on platform stabilization.
- Digital communication proficiency, particularly in system-level integration, preferably with an understanding of CAN-based architectures.
- Proficiency in specific software and tools:
- ISE/Vivado from Xilinx
- Quartus Prime from Intel
- Keil MicroVision for MCUs
- LabVIEW for embedded and real-time controls
- Altium Designer for circuit analysis and simulation.
Mechatronics Expertise:
Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be preferred for Mechatronics roles:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ and MATLAB.
- Competence in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and modeling software.
- Knowledge of Sensors Technologies and actuator capabilities.
- Experience in data acquisition and analysis.
Metallurgy Expertise:
Candidates with expertise in metallurgy should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Foundry/Casting, Forging, Microstructure Studies, and Material Development.
- Familiarity with characterization techniques and testing standards.
- Capability to assess the performance of various materials according to specifications.
- Proficiency in developing, processing, combining, and testing materials.
- Ability to utilize gathered data and expertise to identify and recommend the most suitable materials for specific applications.
- Expertise in non-destructive testing techniques.
- Proficiency in simulating material performance using tools like MATLAB and solid casting software.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience in metallography and spectrometry.
- Hands-on experience in non-destructive techniques such as ultrasonic and radiographic testing.
Computer Expertise:
Candidates with expertise in computer-related fields should possess a comprehensive understanding of the following:
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Java programming languages.
- Strong coding skills, including algorithm development and implementation.
- Knowledge of communication and networking protocols and technologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Quota Policy
The women's quota will be observed as per Government instructions.
Age Relaxation
A general age relaxation of five years in the upper age limit will be granted to all civilian candidates. However, any additional relaxation in the upper age limit will be governed by prevailing Government Policy. Age relaxation for ex-military candidates has already been accounted for in the provided age criteria.

Candidates with qualifications in Supply Chain Management and Finance disciplines will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants awaiting results are ineligible to apply. Only eligible candidates will receive notifications for the test/interview via SMS. Disqualification Criteria
Candidates who have been discharged from Government service on disciplinary grounds will be ineligible for selection.

Test/Interview Venue and Allowances
The test/interview will be conducted at Heavy Industries Taxila Cantt. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
